I’ve started a new residency at Andy’s Jazz with the band Bowmanville Swing. We’ll be playing the early set (5-9) every Friday in July and August. The band plays a mix of originals, gypsy jazz, and Chicago blues. Lots of fun! I’m also looking forward to a trip up north with Frank Catalano to the Jazz Estate in Milwaukee on Friday June 19 and Cafe Coda in Madison on June 20. The Jazz Estate is really a beautiful intimate venue. It seats 80 people, has a great piano, and people really come there to listen. I’ve really enjoyed playing there in the past and I’m sure this time will be no different. I’m from Madison WI originally, so I’m excited to be back there playing at relatively new Club Cafe Coda. Cheese curds ahoy!
